History of formation:
- The Company's predecessor was Phai Duoc Lime Factory, established in 1959. In 1970, the People's Committee of Lang Son Province decided to merge the two facilities of Phai Duoc Lime Factory and Hong Phong Stone Mining Team into Lang Son Lime Stone Enterprise with the task of exploiting stone and producing lime to serve the needs of basic construction work in the province. - In 1979, Lang Son Limestone Enterprise was signed by the People's Committee of Lang Son Province to change its name to Lang Son Construction Materials Production Enterprise.
- Lang Son Cement Factory was re-established according to Decision No. 61/QD-UB dated December 16, 1993 of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee.
- On March 19, 2002, Lang Son Provincial People's Committee issued decision No. 398 QD/UB - KT allowing Lang Son Cement Factory to be renamed Lang Son Cement and Construction Company and later transformed into Lang Son Cement Joint Stock Company.
