Timeline of Establishment & Development:
Formerly known as the Union of Mechanical Construction Enterprises, after 56 years of development, LICOGI Corporation has gone through the following important historical periods:
- August 8, 1960: The Ministry of Architecture (now the Ministry of Construction) decided to establish a mechanical construction company on the basis of the mechanical construction team under the Ministry of Irrigation - Architecture (formerly), including teams and construction sites such as: mechanical construction site 10 Son Tay, 15 Thanh Hoa, 32 Viet Tri, 64 Thac Ba, 68 Hoang Thach, mechanical construction site 7 Ha North….
- 1979: The Government issued Decision No. 308/CP dated September 7, 1979 and on October 11, 1979, the Ministry of Construction decided to convert the Mechanical Construction Company into the Union of Mechanical Construction Enterprises, including 11 member enterprises with independent accounting and 01 Technical Worker Training School
- November 20, 1995: The Ministry of Construction decided to establish the Corporation for Construction and Infrastructure Development on the basis of rearranging the Union of Mechanical Construction Enterprises and Construction Company No. 18 (Decision No. 998/BXD-TCLD), operates under the model of State Corporation 90, with 19 member units, including 12 independent accounting enterprises, 02 dependent accounting enterprises, 02 technical worker training schools
- November 30, 2006: The Ministry of Construction decided to convert the Infrastructure Construction and Development Corporation to operate under the Parent Company - Subsidiary Company model (Decision No. 1635/QD-BXD)
- January 12, 2010: The Prime Minister decided to approve the pilot project to establish the Vietnam Construction Industry Group (Decision No. 52/QD-TTg) and established the Parent Company - Song Da Group (Decision No. 53/QD-Ttg), with the core of Song Da Corporation - Parent Company and Infrastructure Construction and Development Corporation becoming a subsidiary with 100% charter capital held by Song Da Group
- October 18, 2013: The Ministry of Construction decided to transfer the rights and obligations of the owner of the state capital of the Infrastructure Construction and Development Corporation from the parent company - Song Da Group to the Ministry of Construction (Decision No. 914/QD-BXD capitalbefore the time of determining the enterprise value of 370,000,000,000 VND (Three hundred and seventy billion VND)
- July 25, 2014: The Ministry of Construction approved the value of the equitized enterprise of the Parent Company - Infrastructure Construction and Development Corporation, with the actual value of the State capital in the enterprise as of December 31, 2012 as 737,415,232,368 VND 255); text-align: justify; font-size: 14px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"> The Prime Minister approved the plan to equitize the Parent Company - Infrastructure Construction and Development Corporation with a charter capital of 900,000,000,000 VND (Nine hundred billion)
- April 13, 2015: organized the initial public offering of shares at the Hanoi Stock Exchange. As a result, 100% of the shares put up for auction were successfully offered
- April 23, 2015: completed collection of proceeds from initial public offering
- September 9, 2015: signed a contract to sell shares to the strategic investor, Eastern Business and Real Estate Company Limited, with the strategic investor's ownership ratio being 35% of charter capital
- December 19, 2015: successfully organized the first General Meeting of Shareholders of LICOGI
- December 31, 2015: registered to operate under the joint stock company model.
- 2018: Ministry of Construction transferred ownership of state capital at LICOGI to SCIC
