Establishment history:
- 1972: Lix Detergent Joint Stock Company originated from a factory built in 1972 called Huan Huan Chemical Industry Company.
- 1977: During the process of industrial and commercial reform, the factory changed to a joint-venture enterprise and took the name "Linh Xuan Public-Private Joint Venture Factory". In 1978, the factory owner donated it to the State to leave the country, and the factory was merged into the Viso Detergent Factory.
- January 20, 1980: the factory separated from the Viso factory and changed its name to "Linh Xuan Detergent State-owned Factory" under the Southern Detergent Company.
- August 28, 1992: The factory was transformed into Lix Detergent Company under the Industrial and Consumer Chemicals Corporation - Ministry of Heavy Industry.
- May 24, 1993: The company re-registered its business under Decree 388/HDBT. The company was re-established under Decision No. 296/QD/TCNSĐT of the Ministry of Heavy Industry.
- June 27, 2003: according to Decision No. 110/2003/QD-BCN of the Minister of Industry on the equitization of Lix Detergent Company, the Company was transformed into Lix Detergent Joint Stock Company, business registration certificate No. 4103001845 issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of Ho Chi Minh City on September 30, 2003.
- 2005: The company acquired the 30,000 tons/year washing powder factory of Unilever Vietnam Joint Venture Company in Thuong Dinh, Thanh Xuan District, City. Hanoi. Hanoi branch was moved to this location from April 2005.
- April 5, 2008: The company issued bonus shares and increased charter capital from 36 billion VND to 72 billion VND.
- August 2009: The unit paid the third round of stock dividends and issued bonus shares, increasing charter capital to 90 billion. The extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on August 22, 2009 approved the listing of the Company's shares on the City Stock Exchange. Ho Chi Minh.
- December 2011, LIX Binh Duong factory began operating and produced the first batches of products.
- 2013: Signed a processing contract with Unilever until the end of 2019. Invested in modern equipment to increase the capacity of the detergent factory in Thu Duc from 90,000 tons/year to 120,000 tons/year.
- 2014: The LIX brand has become familiar to domestic and foreign consumers after 42 years of continuous innovation and development. Lixco has continued to assert itself with its sustainable development strategy; Always improving, creating, finding new directions to make the company grow stronger.
