Establishment History:
- LILAMA was founded in 1960 to carry out the task of participating in restoring the country's industry after the war
- Since its establishment in 1975, LILAMA has successfully installed many plants from Thac Ba hydroelectric power plant, Uong Bi thermal power plant, Ninh Binh thermal power plant to factories in Viet Tri industrial park, Thuong Dinh, etc., making an important contribution to the construction of socialism in the North.
- After 1975, the country was unified, facing many difficulties of the post-war economy, in the subsidized bureaucratic management mechanism, followed by the fierce competition of the market economy in the 90s, LILAMA overcame everything to successfully install and put into use thousands of large and small projects in all over the world. sectors of the economy such as: Hoa Binh, Tri An hydropower, Bim Son, Kien Luong cement, transformer stations, 500KV North - South power transmission lines, etc.
- At the end of 1995, switching to operate under the Corporation model, LILAMA had a spectacular breakthrough into the field of manufacturing equipment and steel structures for industrial projects and successfully implemented contracts to manufacture equipment for factories: ChinFon, Nghi Son, Hoang Mai Cement... worth hundreds of millions of contracts. USD.
- After 40 years of development and growth since 2000, the state has trusted LILAMA as the EPC general contractor to carry out projects: Uong Bi thermal power plant expansion of 300MW, Ca Mau 1&2 combined cycle power plant with a total capacity of 1500 MW, Nhon Trach 1 capacity 450MW, Nhon Trach 2 capacity 750MW.
- By successfully implementing EPC projects, LILAMA has proven that the Government's assignment of domestic contractors to be EPC general contractors for large projects is correct, bringing many benefits to the Nation and workers. In addition to EPC projects, LILAMA also plays a leading role in large construction projects. In particular, the Dung Quat oil refinery project is Vietnam's first oil refinery in which LILAMA plays an important role, performing more than 70% of the mechanical and electrical work. The factory was put into operation in February 2009
- In 2010, LILAMA transformed to organize and operate according to the model of a single-member limited liability company with 100% state capital according to Decision No. 93/TĐSD-HĐQT dated June 30, 2010 of the Board of Directors of Song Da Group and until 2010. In 2012, the parent company - Song Da Group transferred the rights and obligations of state capital ownership at LILAMA to the Ministry of Construction according to Decision No. 913/QD-BXD dated October 18, 2012 of the Minister of Construction.
- Over 55 years of construction, development and growth, LILAMA has implemented and handed over thousands of large and small projects, making an important contribution to the cause of construction and development of the country. LILAMA is considered the leading EPC General Contractor in Vietnam, one of the leading construction contractors in the field of industrial and civil construction in Vietnam.
