Establishment History
- Implement Resolution No. 05/NQ/TW dated September 24, 2001 of the IX Central Committee on the policy of continuing to arrange, innovate, develop and improve the efficiency of State enterprises. On April 2, 2004, the Board of Directors of Southern Food Corporation issued decision No. 54A/QD.HĐQT to merge a number of units under Long An Food Company into the Agricultural Mechanical Construction Enterprise, including: Specialty Rice Processing Enterprise, Real Estate Business Infrastructure Investment Enterprise, Binh Tinh Food Processing and Purchasing Station and Transportation Team to build an equitization plan. On December 9, 2004, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development issued Decision No. 4438/QD/BNN-TCCB on converting the state-owned enterprise Agricultural Mechanical Construction Enterprise into a joint stock company with the full name of Mechanical Construction and Food Joint Stock Company, abbreviated as MECOFOOD.
- Shares of Mechanical and Food Construction Joint Stock Company have been traded on the Hanoi Stock Exchange since February 14, 2011 with MCK: MCF
- On November 11, 2011, the Company successfully organized an extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders and approved the plan to increase charter capital from 35 billion to 80 billion VND to supplement production and business capital
