Formation history:
- Cai Lay Veterinary Pharmacy Joint Stock Company, formerly known as Cai Lay Veterinary Husbandry Company, was established in June 1990 on the basis of merging Cai Lay District Veterinary Station and Cai Lay District Livestock Enterprise Union. After more than ten years of formation and development, the Company has experienced the following memorable milestones:
- On June 24, 1998, Cai Lay Veterinary Farming Company was merged into Tien Giang Veterinary Pharmaceutical Enterprise according to Decision No. 1703/1998 QD-UB of Tien Giang Provincial People's Committee (Tien Giang Veterinary Pharmaceutical Enterprise was established according to Decision No. 1542 dated July 14, 1995 of Tien Giang Provincial People's Committee).
- On August 25, 1998, Tien Giang Veterinary Pharmaceutical Enterprise was officially renamed Cai Lay Veterinary Husbandry Company with the trading name MEKOVET according to decision No. 2290/QD-UB of Tien Giang Provincial People's Committee.
- On November 11, 2002, the Company carried out equitization according to Decision No. 4630/QD-UB of the People's Committee of Tien Giang Province converting Cai Lay Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Company into Cai Lay Veterinary Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company. The company officially operates under the Joint Stock Company model from January 28, 2003 with registered charter capital of 5,000,000,000 VND (Five billion VND).
- After equitization, the State accounts for 40% of the Company's charter capital. On January 11, 2006, the People's Committee of Tien Giang Province issued dispatch No. 89/UBND-TM on the further sale of 40% of the State capital at Cai Lay Veterinary Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company by auction method. The auction of the State capital was successfully carried out on May 25, 2006 in accordance with auction regulations. Up to now, the State no longer holds shares in the Company.
- On November 9, 2006, the Company changed its Business Registration Certificate for the first time. The company expanded its business stores by opening two more business stores: Veterinary and aquatic medicine store at 26 Ap Bac Street, Ward 5, City. My Tho Tien Giang and Veterinary Medicine Store - Aquaculture at 560 National Highway 1, Area 5, Cai Lay Town, Cai Lay District, Tien Giang Province.
- On January 24, 2008, the Company changed its Business Registration Certificate for the second time. With the following changes:
- Add new business lines in accordance with the actual market situation.
- Increase charter capital from 5,000,000,000 VND to 15,000,000,000 VND.
- Actual charter capital as of January 31, 2008 is 10,000,000,000 VND.
- Year July 22, 2011, Resolution of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders decided to increase charter capital from 10 billion to 30 billion VND, assigning the board of directors to choose the form of capital increase. Also on this day, the Congress also elected a new Board of Directors for the third term of 2011 - 2015.
August 11, 2012 Resolution of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders elected a new Board of Directors for the third term in 2011 – 2015.
April 18, 2013 Resolution of the 2013 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders elected a new Board of Directors for the third term in 2011 – 2015.
April 27, 2014 Resolution The 2014 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders elected additional members of the Board of Directors for the third term of the Year 2011-2015
