Timeline of Establishment & Development:
- 1975: NBC started from two garment factories Ledgine and Jean Symi in the Saigon export processing zone that operated before 1975.
- After the unification day, the Ministry of Light Industry received and renamed these two units into Export Processing Zone Garment Enterprises. At that time, the number of workers in the factory was about 200 people.
- 1992: The early 90s was a period when the textile and garment industry developed strongly with the orientation of becoming a key force in Vietnam's socio-economic development strategy towards export. Faced with the need to build strong units to meet the strategic tasks of the industry, in March 1992, the Ministry of Industry decided to establish Nha Be Garment Company on the basis of Nha Be Garment Factory.
- 2005: In April 2005, Nha Be Garment Company was equitized and converted from a State-owned enterprise to Nha Be Garment Joint Stock Company.
- Also during this period, the Company implemented in-depth investment plans in technological processes, machinery and equipment and worker qualifications. The goal is to form key product lines such as suits, high-end shirts... with high added value, creating competitive advantages and targeting key markets such as the US, Japan, and EU. To date, Nha Be Garment is considered by customers to be the leading unit in Vietnam for suit products.
- In 2008, the Company had many changes in operational orientation, organizational structure and domestic market development. The company rearranged its departments in a streamlined direction, separated some functions into member units and expanded into potential areas.
- In October 2008, the company changed its name to Nha Be Garment Joint Stock Corporation with the trading name NBC and introduced a new brand identity.
- The domestic market has become a focus of operations with large-scale plans. NBC innovates right from market survey and product design, introducing new brands and expanding its distribution network nationwide.
- 2011: Successful with export processing orders and the domestic market, NBC continues to invest heavily in FOB form. The Year 2011 marked this event when NBC deployed the construction of a separate area for foreign experts and selected staff... NBC's estimated export turnover in 2012 was about 420 million USD, of which the rate of implementation according to FOB orders accounted for 50% of the total export turnover achieved.
- 2013: Entering 2013, Textile and Apparel is facing huge challenges and opportunities with a series of free trade agreements (FTA) under negotiation. NBC promotes the development of ODM method, the core is made up of foreign experts who understand fashion trends and market tastes very well, along with designers and a strong sales team who have completed a complete supply chain, contributing to improving production value, increasing competitiveness, creating a solid position in the market.

In addition to its traditional strength of producing garment products, NBC also participates in a number of other fields on the basis of maximizing the available capacity of the Corporation and its member units. NBC's activities include three main areas/markets:
- Production and retail of garments for the domestic market
- Production and retail of garments for international markets
- Other investment, commercial and service activities
