In 1992, Minh Phu Duoc Export Supply Private Enterprise was established with an initial charter capital of 120 million VND, the main business is purchasing and processing seafood to supply domestic export units
On July 1, 1998, it was renamed Minh Phu Seafood Processing Enterprise and at the same time increased its charter capital to 5 billion VND.
In December 2002, Minh Phu Aquatic Processing Enterprise was dissolved and established Minh Phu Seafood Import-Export Company - Limited with a charter capital of 90 billion VND, the company's main business is purchasing and processing aquatic products for export, importing raw materials, machinery and equipment for production. export
In 2006, Switched from a limited liability company model to a joint stock company
On December 20, 2007, the Company's shares were officially transferred and listed at the City Stock Exchange. Ho Chi Minh City with 70,000,000 ordinary shares with par value of 10,000 VND/share.
June 25, 2008, Contributed 20 million USD to Mseafood USA Company, accounting for 90% of Mseafood Company's charter capital.
On July 8, 2008, Minh Phu Biological Products Production One-Member Company Limited was established with a charter capital of 4.5 billion VND. Minh Phu Seafood Group Joint Stock Company owns 100%.
August 17, 2009, Construction of Minh Phu-Hau Giang seafood processing factory with capacity of 40,000 tons of finished products/year started with an investment capital of about 50 million USD
On June 23, 2010, changed the company name to Minh Phu Seafood Group Joint Stock Company.

On November 18, 2013, the name of Minh Phu Hau Giang Seafood Processing Co., Ltd. was changed to Minh Phu Hau Giang Seafood Joint Stock Company and its charter capital was increased to 866,666,670,000 VND
March 23, 2016, based on Board of Directors Meeting Minutes No. 233/HDQT.MPC. 16, the Board of Directors of the Company decided to establish Minh Phu Food Company Limited, in Hau Giang province, Vietnam with an approved legal capital of 40,800,000,000 VND. The Company's field of activity is trading in agricultural and forestry products.
On January 12, 2017, based on the decision of the Board of Directors No. 01/HDQT.MPC.17, the Board of Directors of the Company decided to participate in the establishment of Minh Phu Wild Shrimp Chu Social Co., Ltd., in Ca Mau province, Vietnam with a legal capital of 18,000,000,000 VND with the purpose of linking households, agriculture, forestry and fisheries to sustainably raise aloes, achieve international certifications and protect the forest environment.
