Establishment History and Development
- Formerly known as Coal Company III, established on July 1, 1980 according to Decision No. 42 ĐT/TCCB-3 dated June 17, 1980 of the Minister of Electricity and Coal
- June 19, 1993: The Minister of Energy re-established and changed the name of Coal Company III to Domestic Coal Company according to Decision No. 356NL-TCCB-LD
- October 1994: Domestic Coal Company was transformed from an enterprise under the Ministry of Energy into a member unit of Vietnam Coal Corporation
- November 25, 2005: The Minister of Industry issued Decision No. 3883/2005/QD-BCN approving the Project to convert Domestic Coal Company into Domestic Coal One Member LLC, operating according to the Parent Company - Subsidiary model
- January 1, 2006: Domestic Coal One Member Limited Liability Company officially operates under a new management model
- November 8, 2006: Domestic Coal One Member Limited Liability Company was renamed Viet Bac Mining Industry One Member Limited Liability Company-TKV
- December 13, 2010: Minister of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 6568/QD-BCT to establish the Parent Company - Viet Bac Mining Industry Corporation - Vinacomin
- January 1, 2011: Viet Bac Mining Industry Corporation - Vinacomin officially operated.
- Viet Bac Mining Industry Corporation TKV - Vinacomin under Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industry Corporation was equitized according to Decision No. 132/QD-TTg dated January 26, 2015 of the Prime Minister into Viet Bac Mining Industry Corporation TKV-JSC operating according to the model of Parent Company - Subsidiary Company.
- On May 27, 2015, Viet Bac Mining Industry Corporation TKV - Vinacomin organized a share auction at the Hanoi Stock Exchange.
- On August 28, 2015, the first General Meeting of Shareholders of Viet Bac Mining Industry Corporation TKV - Joint Stock Company was successfully held.
- October 1, 2015: Viet Bac Mining Industry Corporation - Vinacomin officially converted its operating model from a State-owned enterprise to a Joint Stock Company
- On January 28, 2016, the Corporation completed the public company registration procedure.
- On April 25, 2016, the Corporation was granted a certificate of securities registration by the Vietnam Securities Depository.
- October 14, 2016, first transaction on UPCoM with reference price of 14,400 VND/share.
