Establishment History:
- The predecessor of Nam Viet Joint Stock Company was Nam Viet Fibrociment Enterprise (abbreviated as NAVIFICO) established in 1963 with the function of specializing in manufacturing and trading roofing sheets.
- In 1999, the enterprise was one of the first units of Ho Chi Minh City selected by the state to undergo equitization.
- On February 1, 2001, Nam Viet Joint Stock Company was born from the equitization of NAVIFICO Roofing Factory. Also in this year, the Company invested in the field of wood processing. The first wood workshop officially went into operation in early December 2001. The charter capital as of the time of listing was 25 billion VND, of which the State capital held by Saigon Construction Corporation was 750,000 shares, equivalent to 30% of the charter capital.
- The company began listing with the stock code NAV on December 22, 2006 on the Ho Chi Minh City stock exchange. Consulting organization: Dong A Bank Securities Company. Independent audit: audit and information technology services joint stock company (AISC).
