Establishment History:
- NET Detergent Joint Stock Company, formerly known as Vietnam Chemical Company, was built from 1968 until 1972 when it was completed and put into production. Vietnam Waste Products Company has its main office at 38 Nguyen Trai Street, Ward 3, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City and has a factory at Street 8, Bien Hoa 1 Industrial Park, Dong Nai Province.
- The capital to form the factory was created by a group of women who pooled their capital. Design capacity is 5,800 tons of products/year. When first established, Vietnam Tan Chemical Company sent some members of the company to the French Republic to learn how to make powdered soap. After returning to their country, these members took the brand name NET. NET is the abbreviation of the word NETOYER which means washing. The company's logo has a picture of a snowy mountain because the factory was built on a hilly area that was founded but is not yet flat. This mountain is covered with white snow reflecting the clean whiteness of the Detergent. Until now, when promoting washing powder, no company has overlooked this clean white image.
- From the date of establishment until 1975, the Company was managed as a private property, with an output of no more than 1,000 tons of products/year.
- By January 2010, NET Detergent Joint Stock Company had a charter capital of 45 billion VND.
- On September 15, 2010, the Company officially conducted stock trading at the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX).
- On September 28, 2011, the Company increased its charter capital from 45 billion VND to 79,994,460,000 VND
- On July 15, 2014, the company continued to increase its charter capital to 159,988,920,000 VND.
