Establishment History and development:
- Nagaco Garment Joint Stock Company (Nagaco) was established in 1960 with the name Nam Dinh Tailoring Station with the mission of serving tailoring for officers, soldiers and people.
- In 1965, Nam Dinh Tailoring Station was expanded and developed into Nam Ha Garment Export Enterprise with the main task of producing and processing garments for export.
- In 1970, the Enterprise completely replaced manual equipment with industrial machinery and equipment, marking the first step for a change in technological machinery.
- In October 1992, Nam Ha Garment Factory was renamed Nam Dinh Garment Company with a scale of 1,500 employees specializing in producing and processing jackets, shirts, and pants for export to the EU and Japan.
- In 2003, Nam Dinh Garment Company expanded its production scale when it established and put into operation Xuan Truong Garment Factory in Xuan Ngoc commune, Xuan Truong district with 500 employees.
- Nam Dinh Garment Company carries out shares in accordance with Decision No. 2002 2003 QD-BCN dated November 28, 2003 of the Minister of Industry on converting Nam Dinh Garment Company into Nam Dinh Garment Joint Stock Company.
- On January 3, 2004, Nam Dinh Garment Joint Stock Company officially operated in the form of a Joint Stock Company according to Business Registration Certificate No. 0703000333 issued for the first time by the Department of Planning and Investment of Nam Dinh province with a charter capital of 12,000,000,000 VND.
- In October 200, from the old premises at 46 Tran Hung Dao, Nam Dinh city, the company moved its factory to Hoa Xa Industrial Park, Nam Dinh city with spacious infrastructure and expanded production capacity. At the same time, the Company continued to put into operation a garment factory project in Nam Tien commune, Nam Truc district with the name Nam Tien Nam Dinh Garment Joint Stock Company.
- On December 10, 2009, the State Securities Commission (SSC) approved the public company registration application of Nam Dinh Garment Joint Stock Company according to Official Dispatch No. 2849/UBCK-QLPH of the State Securities Commission.
- In January 2020, the Company completed the issuance of an additional 1,800,000 shares to existing shareholders from capital holding a total issuance value at par value of 18,000,000,000 VND.
- On February 21, 2020, the Department of Planning and Investment of Nam Dinh Province issued Business Registration Certificate No. 0600328515, changing number 7, the Company's charter capital is 30,000,000,000 VND.
- On May 14, 2020, the Company was granted Securities Registration Certificate No. 33/2020/GCNCP-VSD by the Vietnam Securities Depository Center (VSD) with a total number of registered shares of 3,000,000 shares.
