- Binh Duong belongs to the southern key economic region, serving as the country's major economic center in industry, services and urban areas. In particular, the expansion and development of industrial parks is one of the top priority development goals in the industrialization and urbanization step of Binh Duong province, including Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park.
- With an area of 330.5 hectares located in the south of Tan Uyen district, more than 30 km northeast of Ho Chi Minh City, 12 km from the center of Binh Duong province, 28 km from Tan Son Nhat airport and intra-regional traffic belts, Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park, owned by Nam Tan Industrial Park Joint Stock Company Uyen is the investor and has been approved by the Prime Minister to allow establishment in document No. 1531/TTg-CN dated October 7, 2005; Accordingly, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province has guided the investor to complete investment preparation procedures and put Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park into official operation from October 25, 2005 according to Decision No. 5297/QD-UBND dated October 24, 2005 of the People's Committee of Binh Duong province on the establishment and approval of the investment project for construction and business of technical infrastructure of Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park; and Decision No. 2169/QD-BXD dated November 22, 2005 of the Ministry of Construction on approving the detailed planning of Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park.
- As soon as it received the decision to establish, Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park Joint Stock Company urgently prepared a total investment estimate for construction and infrastructure business and soon began implementing the main items, turning a rubber garden with low productivity due to many years of exploitation and had reached the liquidation period, into a spacious land. The site has full utility infrastructure to help investors quickly go into operation, creating many jobs for local people as well as surrounding areas, helping people have a stable life instead of their previous lives largely depending on agricultural production crops..., and contributing to creating a new look for Tan Uyen district, Binh Duong province.
