- PetroVietnam Packaging Joint Stock Company was established on June 11, 2010, charter capital is 25 billion VND due to the capital contribution of 3 main shareholders: PetroSetco (51%), Petrochemical Fertilizer Corporation (PVFCCo) (19%) and Trang Hoang My Company Limited (30%), are responsible for implementing the Petroleum Packaging Factory project in Bac Lieu to meet the PP/PE packaging needs of Ca Mau Fertilizer Plant and customers in the Southwest region. The factory was built with a total investment cost of phase 1 of 74 billion VND, equipped with modern production lines, imported synchronously from developed countries with a design capacity of 20 million products/year.
- In early 2012, the Petroleum Packaging Factory officially went into commercial operation. At the end of 2012, the Company completed its production and business targets beyond the set plan.
- In October 2012, implementing the policy of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group, PetroVietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer Company Limited received the transfer of all shares of the Corporation CoPetroSetco General Services Section at PPC; The Company Co Vietnam Petroleum Packaging officially became a subsidiary of PetroVietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer Company Limited.
- May 30, 2011 according to Resolution of the General Assemblyold eastnumber02/NQ-PSP, the Company increased its charter capital from 25 billion VND to 40 billion VND through issuance to existing shareholders. By December 26, 2012, based on the capital contribution situation of shareholders, the Company's General Meeting of Shareholders agreed to register an increase in charter capital according to the actual contributed capital of 32.65billion VND.
- On December 27, 2012, the Department of Planning and Investment of Bac Lieu province granted the third change of licensenumber1900437757 to increase the Company's charter capitalStock Vietnam Petroleum Packaging section to 32.65 billion VND. On December 30, 2014, the Company completed public company registration procedures with the State Securities Commission.
- Year 2013: The company has been operating stably and safely with a capacity of more than 90% design capacity. April 2013 PVFCCo Company transferred equity at PPC Company to PetroVietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer Company Limited (PVCFC) 14.55%.
- Year 2014: September 2014 PVCFC Company sold off its ownership shares in PPC from 77.03% down to 51.03% of PPC charter capital. At the end of 2014, PPC Company was approved as a public company on the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX).
- Year 2015: On January 27, 2015, PPC officially became a listed company on the Hanoi stock exchange.
- Year 2016: Investing in purchasing equipment to expand the scale of packaging production. Investment in construction of Bac Lieu Petroleum Fertilizer Factory

Vietnam Petroleum Packaging Joint Stock Company was established in 2010 to manage and operate the Petroleum Packaging Factory in Bac Lieu. Phase 1 of the plant is calculated to be invested just enough to meet the packaging needs of Ca Mau Fertilizer Plant (about 95%) of the plant's capacity and about 5% of the remaining capacity for the outside market. Currently, the factory is supplying 100% of Ca Mau Fertilizer's packaging needs and the outside market share is relatively small because phase 1 is at full capacity. It is expected that in the coming time (2015 and 2016), PPC will invest in expanding capacity to serve the upcoming packaging needs of the Fertilizer plant and develop external markets, mainly in the Southwest region.
