Establishment History:
- In 1989: according to Decision No. 714/QDUBT dated June 6, 1989 of the Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee on the establishment of Dong Nai II Port - A unit directly under Dong Nai Department of Transport. On February 13, 1990, the name of Dong Nai II Port was changed to Dong Nai Port according to Decision No. 250/QDDUBT of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee
- 1995: Implementing Decree 388/ND-CP of the Government, on June 28, 1995, People's Committee of Dong Nai province issued Decision No. 1367/QD, UBT officially established Dong Nai Port State Enterprise under Dong Nai Department of Transport.
- 2006: Implementing the State Party's policy on equitizing state-owned enterprises, on January 4, 2006, Dong Nai Port Joint Stock Company officially went into operation according to Business Registration Certificate No. 3600334112 issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of DN province.
