Timeline of Establishment & Development:
- To meet the petroleum needs for the liberation of the South, national reunification and the cause of national construction, the Design and Survey Company was established on October 2, 1972 according to Decision No. 477/VT-QD dated September 6, 972 of the Ministry of Materials (now the Ministry of Industry and Trade) with 134 employees. (CBCNV).
- After the great victory in the spring of 1975, the task assigned by the Ministry as the Institute of Design was both urgent and directional, which was to design and restore war-torn works, renovate and expand existing facilities along with new construction designs and planning for the development of material warehouses, petroleum depots, workshops, professional schools and vocational schools under the Ministry's management throughout the country. With scientific and technical staff supplemented from domestic and foreign training sources, the Company has carried out a large number of renovation projects such as: Nha Be, Duc Giang, Hai Phong petroleum warehouses and material warehouse systems. To suit the assigned tasks, the Company was renamed for the first time from Design Survey Company to Design Institute according to Decision No. 668/VT-QB dated November 23, 1978 of the Ministry of Materials.
- Entering a period of innovation, implementing the Ministry's direction on business arrangement, from April 1993, the Company became a member enterprise of Vietnam Petroleum Corporation (now Vietnam Petroleum Group). The company was renamed for the second time from Design Institute to Petroleum and Petroleum Design Company according to Decision No. 204/TM-QD dated March 9, 1993 of the Ministry of Trade (now the Ministry of Industry and Trade).
- To meet market demand, the Company expanded its field of operations and changed its name for the third time from Petroleum and Petroleum Project Design Company to Petrolimex Petroleum Construction Consulting Company according to Decision No. 550/2001/QD-BTM dated May 25, 2001 of the Ministry of Trade. The Company's field of activity is not limited to survey and design, but also includes other consulting services such as: planning, project planning, construction supervision; not only petroleum but also petrochemical products, gas, industrial works and other uses.
- Implementing the Party and State's policy on rearranging state-owned enterprises, Petrolimex Petroleum Construction Consulting Company has equitized according to Decision No. 1805/2003/QD-BTM dated December 24, 2003 of the Ministry of Trade and changed its name for the fourth time to Petrolimex Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company. Petrolimex Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company operates under Business Registration Certificate No. 0101466968 issued by the Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment for the first time on March 12, 2004 with a charter capital of 3.6 billion VND, Vietnam Petroleum Group is the controlling shareholder, accounting for 51% of the charter capital.
- December 14, 2020: The State Securities Commission issued dispatch No. 7311/UBCK-GSĐC approving Petrolimex Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company to become a public company.
- December 17, 2020: The company was granted Securities Registration Certificate No. 77/2020/GCNCP-VSD by the Vietnam Securities Depository Center (VSD) with the stock code PLE and the number of registered shares is 1,215,000 shares.
