Before Love demand of objective reality, with the desire to have a unit within the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group to perform the tasks of consulting, preparing investment projects, appraising investment projects, appraising designs, consulting on preparing bidding documents for construction and installation, consulting on operations, designing project structures...PVN and PV Power have determined that there is a need for a professional unit of the Oil and Gas industry to undertake this task.
On July 16, 2007, the Board of Members of PetroVietnam Electricity Corporation met and approved the Outline for establishing new joint stock companies, including the plan to establish PetroVietnam Electricity Consulting Joint Stock Company. On October 31, 2007, PVPower Engineering was granted business registration certificate No. 0103020312 by the Department of Planning and Investment of Hanoi City, marking the birth of Vietnam Petroleum Power Consulting Joint Stock Company.
On November 7, 2014, PV Power shareholders completely divested capital from the Company and Hoang Phuc Investment and Management Company Limited (Hoang Phuc Company) successfully traded to hold the majority of PVPower Engineering's shares.
