Establishment History:
- In the face of objective practical requirements, with the goal of specializing in technical services to perform the tasks of maintenance, repair, and operation of power plants inside and outside the Oil and Gas industry, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group and Vietnam Petroleum Electricity Corporation determined that there is a need for a professional unit of the Oil and Gas industry to undertake this task.
- On July 16, 2007, the Board of members of the General Power Company Vietnam Petroleum Power (PV-Power) met and approved the new Establishment Protocol a number of joint stock companies in that have plans to establish the Technical Services Joint Stock Company Vietnam Petroleum Electricity. On November 27, 2007, PetroVietnam Power Technical Services Joint Stock Company was granted the first business registration certificate No. 0103021005 by the Department of Planning and Investment of Hanoi City, marking the birth of PetroVietnam Power Technical Services Joint Stock Company with charter capital is 150,000,000,000 VND (One hundred and fifty billion VND)
- In order to access the southern market and expand its operating network. On August 28, 2008, PV Power Servies became established a branch of PV Power servies in Ho Chi Minh City Minh to organize, resolve and supervise all production and business activities of PV Power Services in the South on behalf of PVPower Services.
- On August 3, 2009, the company established two branches in Nhon Trach and Ca Mau to initially set up direct production units to serve repair and maintenance work at Nhon Trach Power Plant and Ca Mau Power Plant. Up to now, 3 branches of the Company have been in stable operation and guaranteed repair and maintenance services at the factories.
- On December 28, 2010, PetroVietnam Electricity Technical Services Joint Stock Company was granted Securities Registration Certificate No. 305/2010/GCNCP-VSD to officially approve securities depository activities listed on the HNX exchange.
- On January 7, 2011, PetroVietnam Electricity Technical Services Joint Stock Company stock with trading code PPS was officially listed on HNX with a volume of over 100,000 successful transactions.
