Establishment History:
- The predecessor of Petroleum Design Consulting Company - JSC is Petroleum Construction Investment Consulting Company (PVICCC) established on April 10, 1998 under Decision No. 03/1998/QD/VPCP of the Minister, Head of the Government Office, and is a member of Vietnam Oil and Gas Corporation. (Petrovietnam).
- On February 27, 2002, Petroleum Construction Investment Consulting Company (PVICCC) changed its transaction name and abbreviation to Petrovietnam Engineering Company (PV Engineering) according to Decision No. 341QD/HĐQT of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Oil and Gas Corporation.
- On March 26, 2004, the Ministry of Industry issued Decision No. 531/QD-TCCB converting the Petroleum Construction Investment Consulting Company into a Petroleum Design and Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company with a total charter capital of 25 billion VND
- On December 8, 2004, the Ministry of Industry issued Decision No. 165/2004/QD–BCN on converting the Petroleum Construction Investment Consulting Company into the Petroleum Design and Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company and Decision No. 24/2005/QD-BCN dated May 30, 2005 of the Ministry of Industry on correcting change Clause 1, Clause 3, Article 1 of Decision No. 165/2004/QD–BCN;
- On June 25, 2005, the shareholders' meeting to establish Petroleum Investment and Design Joint Stock Company took place.
- On September 14, 2005, the Department of Planning and Investment of Ho Chi Minh City issued business registration certificate No. 4103003829
- The company officially came into operation as a joint stock company from October 1, 2005.
- January 2, 2008 Petroleum Design and Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company officially traded at Hanoi Stock Exchange
- On December 15, 2009, Petroleum Design and Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company officially traded additional listed shares at the Hanoi Stock Exchange.
- On September 16, 2010, Petroleum Design and Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company was restructured into Petroleum Design Consulting Joint Stock Company operating under the model of Parent Company - Subsidiary Company according to Decision No. 2271/QD - DKVN of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group.
