Establishment History:
- PetroVietnam Construction Joint Stock Corporation, formerly the Petroleum Construction Joint Enterprise, was established by decision of the General Director of the General Department of Petroleum No. 1069/DK-TC dated September 14, 1983 on the basis of the army's 318th army cadres and soldiers on duty. - On September 19, 1995, Vietnam Oil and Gas Corporation issued Decision No. 1254/DK-TCNS to change the name of Petroleum Construction Joint Enterprise to Petroleum Design and Construction Company (PVECC).
- In 2004, Petroleum Design and Construction Company implemented equitization according to Decree 187/2004/ND-CP of the Government on converting State-owned companies into joint stock companies.
- In March 2005, the Ministry of Industry approved the equitization plan and transformed the Petroleum Design and Construction Company into the Petroleum Construction Joint Stock Company with a charter capital of 150 billion VND.
- Based on the development strategy of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group approved by the Prime Minister, in order to unify the management and administration of member units, on October 26, 2007, the Board of Directors of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group issued Resolution No. 3604/NQDKVN on Approving the Proposal Project to convert PetroVietnam Construction Joint Stock Company into PetroVietnam Construction Joint Stock Corporation operating according to the parent company - subsidiary model, in which: The parent company is PetroVietnam Construction Joint Stock Corporation (PVC) formed on the basis of converting and rearranging joint stock companies with capital contributions from Vietnam Oil and Gas Group.
- At the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of PetroVietnam Construction Joint Stock Company on November 21, 2007, the Congress approved the Project to convert PetroVietnam Construction Joint Stock Company into PetroVietnam Construction Joint Stock Company. On December 20, 2007, Hanoi Department of Planning & Investment issued Business Registration Certificate No. 0103021423 to PetroVietnam Construction Joint Stock Corporation.
- The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on June 27, 2008 of PetroVietnam Construction Joint Stock Corporation approved the plan to issue shares to increase charter capital in the form of private placement from 150 billion to 1,500 billion, in which, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group contributed capital in cash and transferred rights. owns the Group's capital contributions in member companies. The Corporation officially operates in the form of a Parent Company and receives and establishes many new member companies, the scale of production and business activities of the Corporation is constantly expanding.
- August 19, 2009: Vietnam Petroleum Construction Joint Stock Corporation listed 150,000,000 shares with the stock code PVX on the Hanoi Stock Exchange.
- March 23, 2012: PetroVietnam Construction Joint Stock Corporation successfully increased its charter capital to 4,000 billion VND.
- September 14, 2014: PVC celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Corporation's founding. This is also the year that marks a strong transformation, especially in business restructuring.
