Establishment History:
- On January 29, 2007, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 15/2007/QD -TTg approving the socio-economic development planning of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province for the period 2006 - 2015, oriented to 2020. Accordingly, Ba Ria - Vung Tau will develop into an industrial province, strong in marine economy, with a national and international trading port system, and an industrial and tourism service center of the country.
- In early 2007, the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group proposed to Ba Ria Vung Tau Province to establish Long Son petrochemical industrial park with a land area of 1,250 hectares in Long Son commune, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. This industrial park will include the main projects of Construction of Oil Refinery No. 3, Southern Petrochemical Complex and two auxiliary projects of Power Plant and Oil and Gas Service Area. These are major projects of the Oil and Gas industry and have been approved by the Prime Minister for investment policy.
- On May 24, 2007, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group signed Decision No. 1590/NQ – DKVN on approving the plan to establish IDICOLong Son Petroleum Industrial Park Investment Joint Stock Company and specifying functions, tasks, project scale, and design. project implementation plan.
- On July 30, 2007, the General Meeting of Shareholders Establishing Idico Long Son Petroleum Industrial Park Investment Joint Stock Company was conducted with the participation of leadership representatives of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, IDICO Corporation, leaders of departments and agencies of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, and other shareholders.
- On August 9, 2007 Idico Long Son Petroleum Industrial Park Investment Joint Stock Company officially came into operation under Business Registration Certificate No. 4903000409 issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of Ba Ria Vung Tau province for the first time with registered charter capital of 1,200,000,000,000 VND (one thousand two hundred billion VND) and the actual contributed charter capital at this time is 276,000,000,000 VND (two hundred and seventy-six billion VND even).
- On June 1, 2009, the General Meeting of Shareholders of Idico Long Son Petroleum Industrial Park Investment Joint Stock Company approved the reduction of charter capital to 827,222,120,000 VND based on the actual capital contribution situation as well as the company's business activities. Accordingly, the Company has been granted a new business registration certificate by the Department of Planning and Investment of Ba Ria Vung Tau province.
- Currently, the Company has completed moving its headquarters to Khang Thong office building, 67 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City according to the policy approved at the 2010 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on May 6, 2010.
- On July 1, 2010, the Company was re-issued Business Registration and Tax Registration Certificate No. 3500811001 by the Department of Planning and Investment of Ho Chi Minh City with a charter capital of 827,222,120,000 VND (Eight hundred twenty-seven billion two hundred and twenty-two million one hundred and twenty thousand dong).
