Establishment History:
- Petroleum Metal Structures and Machinery Installation Joint Stock Company (PVC-MS), formerly known as Metal Structures and Equipment Installation Enterprise, was established on August 19, 1995 under the Petroleum Construction Joint Enterprise. After a long period of operation, the Enterprise was renamed Metal Structure and Machine Installation Enterprise on April 13, 2006 according to Decision No. 98/QD-XLDK of Petroleum Construction Joint Stock Company.
- After converting PetroVietnam Construction Joint Stock Company (the enterprise's managing unit) into PetroVietnam Construction Joint Stock Corporation (PVC), on December 21, 2007, the PVC Board of Directors issued decision No. 01/QD-HĐQT-TCT "Establishment of Metal Structure Company Limited and Oil and Gas Machine Installation" with charter capital of 50 billion VND. On November 4, 2009, the PVC Board of Directors issued Decision No. 916/QD-XLDK "approving the plan to convert Petroleum Machinery Installation and Metal Structure Company Limited into a joint stock company".
- PVC-MS Company officially operated as a joint stock company on November 26, 2006 according to Business Registration Certificate No. 3500834094 with charter capital of 200 billion VND.
- On October 26, 2007, the Board of Directors of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group issued Resolution No. 3604/NQ-DKVN on approving the project to convert Petroleum Construction Joint Stock Company (PVConstruction) into Vietnam Petroleum Construction Joint Stock Corporation (PVC). On November 21, 2007, the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders officially approved the project to establish Vietnam Petroleum Construction Joint Stock Corporation. On December 21, 2007, the PVC Board of Directors issued Decision No. 01/QD-HĐQT-TCT: "Establishment of Metal Structure and Petroleum Machinery Installation Company Limited";
- On November 26, 2009, the Company officially converted its form of operation from a One Member Limited Company to a Joint Stock Company with a charter capital of 200 billion VND (According to the business registration certificate No. 3500834094 issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of Ba Ria Vung Tau Province on September 26, 2009).
- June 14, 2013: The company completed increasing capital from 375 billion VND to 406 billion VND.
- December 6, 2013: The Company's charter capital increased to 500 billion VND. With ownership of 5,000,000 shares in the issuance, MEPCOM Offshore & Marine PTE. LTD. has become a strategic shareholder of PVC-MS.
- December 15, 2015: Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange. Ho Chi Minh City officially approved the additional listing of 10 million PXS shares, increasing the Company's charter capital to 600 billion VND.
