Formation history:

Viet Duc Electric Welding Rod Joint Stock Company, formerly known as Electric Welding Rod Factory, was established on March 29, 1967 in Giap Bat Ward, Dong Da Area, Hanoi City
In March 1995, the Ministry of Industry decided to change the name of the Factory to Viet Duc Electric Welding Rod Company.
According to Decision No. 1335/QD-TCCB dated June 10, 2003 of the Ministry of Industry, the Company carried out procedures for equitization. On October 14, 2003, the Ministry of Industry issued Decision No. 166/2003/QD-BCN approving the plan to equitize and transform Viet Duc Electric Welding Rod Company into Viet Duc Electric Welding Rod Joint Stock Company.
From December 26, 2003, the Company officially operates under the model of a Joint Stock Company.
April 22, 2012: 2,742,270 shares of the company with the stock code QHD officially traded at the Hanoi Stock Exchange.
