Establishment History:
- In 1986, Post Office Materials Factory II was established according to Decision No. 28/QD/TCCB of the General Department of Posts and Telecommunications, which is the predecessor of the Telecommunications Cable and Materials Joint Stock Company.
- In 1998, the Telecommunications Cable and Materials Factory was equitized into the Telecommunications Cable and Materials Joint Stock Company (SACOM) according to Decision No. 75/1998/QD-TCCB signed by the General Director of the General Department of Posts and Telecommunications.
- In 2000, it was one of the first two companies listed on the Vietnam Stock Market, stock code is SAM.
- In 2008, Sacom Real Estate Joint Stock Company (Samland) was established.
- 2009 Established Sacom – Tuyen Lam Joint Stock Company
- In 2010, the name of Telecom Cable and Materials Joint Stock Company was changed to SACOM Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (SACOM).
- 2010 Established Sacom – Chipsam Company Limited (SCS)
- 2011 Established Sacom Wire and Cable Company Limited (transformed into a joint stock company in July 2015)
- 2016 Started rebuilding New Brand Identity for SACOM Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (SAM Holdings) in July 2016 according to Resolution No. 153/2016/NQHĐQT, completed in December 2016.
