Establishment History:
- Formerly the Usine Belgique factory, built in 1952 under the French group BGI, specializes in producing and trading products: beer, ice and all kinds of beverages. In July 1977, BGI Group handed over the entire factory to the State of Vietnam with the name Chuong Duong Soft Drink Factory under Southern Alcohol and Beer Company.
- In 1993 the company changed its name to Chuong Duong Beverage Company under Vietnam Alcohol, Beer and Beverage Corporation. In 1996, the company used the warehouse at 2 Ngo Duc Ke, HCM to enter into a joint venture with Centerpoint properties Limited (Singapore) to establish Me Linh Center Co., Ltd. to build the Me Linh point building with a total investment of 35,722,600 USD.
- In June 2, 2004, equitization was carried out and the name was changed to Chuong Duong Beverage Joint Stock Company. The Company's charter capital is 85 billion VND with the controlling stake held by NGK Saigon Beer and Wine Corporation. On December 11, 2006, the company was licensed to list on the HCM Stock Exchange and on December 25, 2006, the company's shares officially traded on the center with the stock code SCD
- The company began listing with the stock code SCD on December 25, 2006 on the Ho Chi Minh City stock exchange. Independent audit: Vietnam Auditing Company (Vaco).
