Establishment History
- 1984 : Established Fishery Mechanics Branch III.
- November 5, 1987: Officially established Fisheries Mechanical Company III.
- 1990: Applying shipbuilding technology using composite materials to production.
- 1992: Construction of the production area in District 7 - Ho Chi Minh City began.
- 1993: Re-establishment of the state-owned enterprise Fisheries Mechanical Company III.
- 1997: Putting wharf C1 into operation.
- 2000: Changed name to Seafood Mechanical Company, directly under East Sea Seafood Corporation.
- 2001 : Successfully researched and manufactured removable steel molds for composite shipbuilding.
- 2002: Changed name to Seafood Industry Company.
- 2003: Launched the longest offshore fishing vessel made of composite materials built in Vietnam.
- 2005: Awarded ISO 9001:2000 Certificate by QUACERT Organization.
- 2006: Launch of a 30m long medical ship, the longest ship made of composite materials built in Vietnam; put wharf C2 into operation.
- 2007: The company transformed into a joint stock company and changed its name to Fisheries Industry Joint Stock Company with a charter capital of 22 billion VND.
- 2008: Seafood Industry Joint Stock Company's charter capital was 22 billion VND increased to 33 billion VND.
- 2009: Seafood Industry Joint Stock Company's charter capital was 33 billion VND increased to 42 billion VND.
- 2010: Awarded ISO 9001:2008 Certificate by QUACERT Organization.
- 2011: Seafood Industry Joint Stock Company changed its headquarters from 30 Ham Nghi, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1 to 211 Nguyen Thai Hoc, Pham Ngu Lao Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
- 2014: Aquatic Industry Joint Stock Company changed the company's headquarters from 211 Nguyen Thai Hoc, Pham Ngu Lao Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City to 244 Bui Van Ba, Tan Thuan Dong Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City
