Formation history:
- Song Da 2 Joint Stock Company, formerly known as the Civil Construction Company under Song Da Construction Corporation, was established on February 18, 1980 with the task of building houses for Soviet experts on the Song Da Hydropower site and completing the entire Hydroelectric Plant. Hoa Binh. Then the company was renamed Song Da 2 Construction Company and then Song Da 2 Company. According to Decision No. 2334/QDBXD dated December 19, 2005 of the Minister of Construction, Song Da 2 Company under Song Da Corporation converted into Song Da 2 Joint Stock Company.
- Song Da 2 Joint Stock Company was officially established and put into operation on March 1, 2006 according to Business Registration Certificate No. 0303000430 issued by the Ha Tay Department of Planning and Investment; Business Registration Certificate changed for the 5th time issued by Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment on September 26, 2008.
- On November 30, 2007, the Company's shares were officially traded at the Hanoi Securities Trading Center with the stock code SD2 according to Decision No. 360/QĐTTGDCKHN of Hanoi Stock Exchange Center (now Hanoi Stock Exchange).
On October 6, 2008, the Company issued shares to strategic partners and retail investors to increase the company's charter capital from 35 billion VND to 48.54 billion VND.
On March 9, 2010, the Company issued shares to increase charter capital from 48.54 billion VND to 70 billion VND for existing shareholders and employees of the Company.
November 19, 2010 Company company issues shares to increase charter capital from 70 billion VND to 120 billion VND for existing shareholders and employees of the Company.
December 15, 2014Companyissues shares to exchange shares, carry out merger of Joint Stock Company Song Da Traffic Works into Song Da 2 Joint Stock Company. Charter capital increased from 120 billion VND to 144 billion VND.
On January 15, 2015, the Company listed additional shares issued on the Hanoi Stock Exchange.
