Establishment History:
- Song Da 5 Joint Stock Company, formerly known as Vinh Son Hydropower Construction Company. The company is a state-owned enterprise - a member unit of Song Da Corporation converted into Song Da 5 Joint Stock Company according to Decision No. 1720/QD - BXD dated November 4, 2004 of the Minister of Construction.
- On November 4, 2004, Song Da 5 Company was converted into Song Da 5 Joint Stock Company according to Decision 1720/QD-BXD of the Minister of Construction
- From December 13, 2006, Song Da 5 Joint Stock Company was approved to register for stock trading at the Hanoi Stock Exchange Center according to Decision No. 74/QD-TTGDCKHN of the Hanoi Stock Exchange Center.\
2007: The company moved its headquarters from Na Hang Town, Na Hang district, Tuyen Quang province to It Ong Town, Muong La district, Son La province to participate in the construction of Son La hydroelectric power plant.
Year 2011: Implementing the Resolution of the General Meeting of Shareholders No. 43/NQ-SDD5-DHDCD dated April 19, 2011, on July 8, 2011, Song Da 5 Joint Stock Company moved the Company's headquarters from It Ong, Muong La, Son La to the 5th Floor, Tower B, Building HH4, Song Da My Dinh Urban Area, My Dinh I Ward, District 1. Nam Tu Liem, Hanoi City according to Resolution No. 75/SDD-NQ-HĐQT dated July 7, 2011.
2013: Issued an additional 9,000,000,000 shares to existing shareholders, increasing charter capital from 90,000,000,000 VND to 180,000,000,000 VND.
Charter capital of the Company as of December 31, 2014: 259,998,480,000 VND.
