Establishment History:
- Song Da Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company, formerly the Branch of Song Da II Construction Company in Son La, was established in June 1996 with the main task of constructing industrial and civil works; Irrigation construction includes: dykes, dams, reservoirs, irrigation systems; Construction and installation of power lines and transformer stations up to 220kV; production and installation of construction structures and mechanical structures; production and trading of construction materials and supplies.
- January 20, 2000 Song Da II Construction Company branch in Son La was renamed Song Da Construction Enterprise 2.04 under Song Da II Construction Company according to Decision No. 16/TCTTTCLD of the Construction Corporation Song Da.
- On March 26, 2002, Song Da 2.04 Construction Enterprise was renamed Song Da 2.04 Enterprise under Song Da 2 Company according to Decision No. 09/TCTTTCĐT of Song Corporation Da. Implementing the policies of the Party and State as well as of Song Da Corporation in innovating and rearranging State-owned enterprises, on April 29, 2004, Song Da Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company was established under Decision No. 709/QDBXD of the Minister of Construction on transferring Song Da Enterprise Da 2.04 belongs to Song Da 2 Company and Song Da Corporation to become Song Da Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company. On May 20, 2004, the Company was granted the first Business Registration Certificate by the Department of Planning and Investment of Ha Tay province with a charter capital of 7,000,000,000 VND
- On January 23, 2008, the Company's shares were officially traded at the Hanoi Securities Trading Center with the stock code SDD according to Decision No. 17/QD-TTGDHN dated January 11, 2008 of Hanoi Securities Trading Center
