Establishment History:
- Sadico Can Tho Joint Stock Company, formerly known as Can Tho Construction Materials Production - Services Company, was established in 1988, specializing in manufacturing and supplying construction materials in the Southwest region.
- In 2006, according to the government's policy, Can Tho Construction Materials Production and Trading Company conducted equitization. However, during the equitization process, the Company encountered many difficulties due to serious financial imbalance due to business losses and debt burden. With the support of the Debt and Asset Trading Company (DATC) by purchasing bad debt from banks to handle financial problems associated with restructuring and converting the business into a joint stock company, accordingly, DATC buys the company's debt and converts the company into a joint stock company with v charter of 50 billion VND (of which DATC owns 51% according to the mechanism of converting debt into contributed capital and applying a reasonable debt collection structure according to the recovery and development roadmap of Sadico Can Tho). On December 29, 2006, Can Tho City People's Committee issued decision No. 2895/QD.UBT on approving the plan and converting Can Tho City Construction Materials Production - Trading Company into a Joint Stock Company.
- SADICO has completed the transformation and operated under the joint stock company model from June 27, 2007. The company has Business Registration License No. 5703000320 issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of Can Tho City on June 27, 2007. On August 19, 2009, the Company registered to change and reissue business registration number 1800155452 issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of Can Tho City.
- On December 22, 2009, the Company's shares were officially listed and traded on the Hanoi Stock Exchange with the stock code: SDG
- On October 8, 2010, the Company's additional listed shares were officially listed and traded on the Hanoi Stock Exchange.
