Establishment History:
- The company was established and put into operation on November 14, 2007 with the name Superdong - Kien Giang High Speed Train Company Limited and the initial registered charter capital was 9.6 billion VND. The company's main activities are coastal passenger and cargo transport, passenger and cargo transport by inland waterways.
- On January 22, 2010, the Company transformed into a Joint Stock Company with the full name of Superdong - Kien Giang High Speed Train Joint Stock Company according to investment certificate No. 561023000003 issued for the first time on April 11, 2007, with the third change. dated October 22, 2010 issued by Phu Quoc Island Development Investment Management Board. Registered charter capital is 90 billion VND.
- From October 20, 2012, the Company is eligible to become a public company with a number of shareholders of 311 people and a charter capital of 174,748,540,000 VND. By June 24, 2013, the Company completed the public company registration documents and was officially approved by the State Securities Commission.
- Since 2013, the General Meeting of Shareholders has approved the listing of securities on the Exchange. It is expected that in the second quarter of 2014, the Company will complete procedures to officially trade the Company's shares on HOSE.
- On May 16, 2014, Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange issued decision No. 185/QD-SGDHCM on approving the stock listing registration of Superdong - Kien Giang High Speed Train Joint Stock Company with stock code: SKG. On July 8, 2014, all 17,474,854 SKG shares were officially traded on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange.
- Year 2015: Implementing the Resolution of the 2015 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, the Company successfully issued 3,999,853 shares to pay dividends to existing shareholders and 479,940 shares. votes for employees under the Employee Selection Program. Completed the construction of Superdong VIII Ship and put it into operation on the Rach Gia - Phu Quoc - Rach Gia route in February 2015, increasing the number of ships operating in 2015 to 08 high-speed ships with tonnage from 171 to 306 seats. Officially put the Rach Gia - Nam Du - Rach Gia route into operation from June 2015. By the end of the year, the market share on this route had increased to 50% with two ships in operation, Superdong I and II. Opening shuttle bus service at Bai Vong port (Phu Quoc) in June 2015
