Timeline of Establishment & Development:
- 1977: On November 18, 1977, Phu Lam Mechanical Workshop was established under Decision No. 1501/QD-UB of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, formerly an ice factory.
- 1984: 3/2 Mechanical Enterprise was established from Phu Lam Mechanical Factory with the assigned task of producing ice, equipment and tools for processing seafood for export.
- 1988: Da Nang Refrigeration Electrical Engineering Enterprise was established as a type 2 state-owned enterprise under the Central Seafood Import-Export Company (Seaprodex Danang).
- 1993: On April 1, 1993, Mechanical Enterprise 3/2 was renamed Refrigeration Engineering Company (SEAREFICO) according to Decision No. 95/TS/QDTC as a type 1 state-owned enterprise under Vietnam Seafood Import-Export Corporation (Seaprodex Vietnam).
- 1996: October 26, 1996 first restructuring with the decision of the Ministry of Fisheries to merge Da Nang Refrigeration Electrical Engineering Enterprise (SEAREE) into Refrigeration Industry Company (SEAREFICO). This day is chosen as SEAREFICO Traditional Day.
- 1999: Refrigeration Engineering Company was equitized with a charter capital of 12 billion VND and changed its name to Refrigeration Engineering Joint Stock Company, the trading name is still SEAREFICO.
- 2005: Second restructuring with the establishment of 4 main business units: Mechanical and Electrical Division (M&E), Industrial Refrigeration Division, Panel Factory and Searee Da Nang.
- 2007: In February 2007, the Company issued bonus shares to existing shareholders at a ratio of 1:1, increasing actual contributed capital from 12,000,000,000 VND to 23,978,500,000 VND.
In November 2007, continued to issue additional shares to existing shareholders, strategic partners and to the public through auction, increasing actual contributed capital from 23,978,500,000 VND to 46,368,240,000 VND. - 2008: In May 2008, the Company issued bonus shares to existing shareholders at the ratio of 10:7.3, increasing charter capital from 46,368,240,000 VND to 80,200,660,000 VND.
- 2009: On October 21, 2009, 8,020,066 Searefico shares were listed at the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange with the trading code "SRF".
- 2010: On January 1, 2010, Asia Refrigeration Industry Company Limited (ARICO) was established and officially put into operation, this is the subsidiary that inherits all industrial refrigeration and panel operations of SEAREFICO.
- 2013: Issued bonus shares at 1:1 ratio to increase charter capital to 162.5 billion VND.
Signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Taisei Oncho - Top 3 Japanese M&E Contractors. Taisei Oncho became a strategic shareholder of Searefico. - 2014: Issued bonus shares at 2:1 ratio to increase charter capital to 243.7 billion VND.
Buy 36% of charter capital of Thua Thien Hue Construction Joint Stock Company, becoming an affiliated company of Searefico - 2015: The entire company's revenue exceeded the milestone of 1,000 billion VND.
- 2017: Completed the transformation of Asia Refrigeration Industry Company Limited into a Joint Stock Company.
Issuing bonus shares at a ratio of 3:1 increased charter capital to 324.9 billion VND. - 2018: Company-wide revenue reached the highest milestone of more than 1,700 billion VND.
Established Searee Refrigeration Electrical Engineering Joint Stock Company.
- Established Greenpan Joint Stock Company
- 2019: Third restructuring, marking a successful generational transfer and transformation of operations to the Holding Company model.
Established Searefico Engineering and Construction Joint Stock Company on the basis of converting all activities of the M&E segment to Searefico E&C, adding additional functions of industrial and civil construction activities to carry out EPC general contractor contracts for industrial projects.
Established Seareal Real Estate Joint Stock Company.
- Sanyo Engineering & Construction (VN) officially became a major shareholder of Searefico.
- 2020: Asia's most modern Greenpan PIR Panel production line went into operation in April 2020.
- 2021: Continue the generational transition and gradually transition to a pure holding model operating as a business group.
Arico's capital was increased to 120 billion VND to increase its financial capacity to accept larger projects and invest in developing new products.
Searefico E&C increased its capital to 150 billion VND and received the transfer of all Searee shares from Searefico, aiming to unify resources and management activities of the M&E segment nationwide.
- Issuing shares to pay dividends in 2020 at a rate of 10%, increasing charter capital to 355.7 billion VND.
- 2022: Divest all capital at Thua Thien Hue Construction Joint Stock Company.
Choose October 26, 1996 as the Company's founding date and choose October 26 every year as the Company's traditional day (Searefico's Day). - 2023: Implement the pivot strategy to gradually concretize the goal of becoming a multi-industry corporation in the field of Engineering - Technology, targeting industries with high technology content and market potential.
- 2024: Greenpan officially achieved all 04 FM Approved certifications from FM Approvals, opening up opportunities to conquer the international market.
Searee Da Nang officially inaugurated the Logistics Warehouse and put it into operation, reaching 100% capacity right from the first time.
