Establishment History:
- Saigon Shoe Joint Stock Company (SSC) was formerly the French Bata Shoe factory. After 1975, it was Saigon Shoe Factory under the Ministry of Light Industry.
- 1993: renamed Shoe Factory.
- 1994: renamed Saigon Shoe Company under the Ministry of Industry.
- Year 2004: Saigon Shoe Joint Stock Company was established on the basis of equitizing the state-owned enterprise Saigon Shoe Company, according to Decision No. 179/2003/QD-BCN dated November 4, 2003 and Decision No. 50/2004/QD-BCN dated November 4, 2003 and Decision No. 50/2004/QD-BCN dated June 17, 2004 of the Ministry of Industry.
- On July 26, 2007, the Company registered to become a public company
- The company registered for depository on February 8, 2010 at the Vietnam Securities Depository Center, traded at UPCOM market, Hanoi Stock Exchange and officially traded from April 20, 2010
