Establishment History:

Hai Au Shipping Joint Stock Company was established under Decision No. 29/2000/QD-TTg dated February 28, 2000 of the Prime Minister on converting Hai Au Shipping Company into a joint stock company. Hai Au Shipping Company is a unit under Vietnam Shipping Company (Vosco) that was equitized under the Government's 2000 equitization program for state-owned enterprises.
After equitization, the initial asset of Hai Au Shipping Joint Stock Company is only a dry cargo ship named Southern Star. This ship has a tonnage of 6,500 DWT, built in 1983, and has an asset value of 1 million USD, equivalent to a capital stock of 15,000,000,000 VND.
On January 5, 2011, the Company's shares were listed on the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) with the stock code SSG. Due to losses for 3 consecutive years, on May 15, 2015, the Company's shares were delisted from HNX.
From June 3, 2015, the Company's shares (SSG) were listed and registered for trading on the UPCOM market.
As a company with many industries, the Company's main business is maritime transportation of exported and imported goods and transportation of goods between international ports. The operating area of the Company's fleet is not limited.
