Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank was established in 1991. Initial charter capital was 3 billion VND. Current charter capital is 5,115.6 billion VND.
The bank has 04 subsidiaries: Saigon Thuong Tin Bank Debt Management and Asset Exploitation Company, AMC Sacombank; Saigon Thuong Tin Bank Remittance Company SacomRex; financial leasing company Saigon Thuong Tin Bank Sacombank Leasing; Saigon Thuong Tin Bank Securities Company Sacombank Securities.
The bank cooperates and cooperates with Dragon Capital to establish a joint venture company to manage the Vietnam Securities Investment Fund, VietFund Management. In addition, the bank has 03 foreign strategic partners: International Financial Company (IFC) under the World Bank, accounting for 7.66% of equity capital; Dragon Financial Holdings Capital of the UK, accounting for 8.77% of the share capital; Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ), accounting for 9.87% of the share capital.
