Establishment History:
The company was established on June 1, 2000, specializing in producing yarn DTY (Draw Textured Yarn) from imported POY (Partially Oriented Yarn) yarn. Total initial design capacity is 4,800 tons of DTY/year. The factory is equipped with modern production lines imported from Barmag AG Group (Germany) to produce microfilament synthetic fibers with all specifications.
Year 2003: Due to the strong growth of market demand and the textile industry combined with increased demand from the company's customers, CSF continues to expand investment and double capacity to reach 9,600 tons DTY/ year.
Year 2008: Expanded investment and increased total capacity to 15,000 tons of DTY/year. Officially put into operation POY yarn factory (input material for DTY yarn production) to increase the value chain and improve profits. Investment in POY fiber production also aims to reduce dependence on imported POY materials, especially price fluctuations and POY fiber supply. Investing in developing the POY fiber production line is a turning point in the development process and opens up new opportunities for Century Fiber because with this event, Century Fiber officially becomes the first Vietnamese company to produce microfilament fiber from imported polyester chips.
Year 2010 - 2012 : Expanded investment through establishing a new factory in Trang Bang district, Tay Ninh. In January 2011, Trang Bang factory was officially put into operation, increasing the total capacity of the company to 37,000 tons of DTY, FDY/year and 29,500 tons of POY/year. To improve operational efficiency and internal management, since January 2012 Century Fiber has deployed and applied the ERP system in production and business activities of the entire company.
Year 2014: STK implements a factory expansion investment project in Trang Bang with an expected total investment capital of 34.2 million USD.
Year 2015: September 20, 2015, the stock was officially listed on HOSE. September 18, 2015 Trang Bang factory expanded. The company has cooperated with a leading enterprise in the industry to successfully develop the product Recycled fibers from recycled plastic pellets, initially successfully implementing the strategy of diversifying product segments with higher added value.
2016: Continue to expand Trang Bang 4 factory, increasing the company's total capacity to 60,000 tons of DTY and FDY/year by the end of 2016.
