- Song Da Packaging Joint Stock Company, formerly known as Packaging Production Enterprise - Song Da 12 Company, was established and put into operation in 1996 according to Decision No. 05/TCT-TCLD dated November 22, 1996 of Song Da Construction Corporation.
- Implementing the policies of the Party and the State, in April 2003, with the attention of the leaders of Song Da Corporation, Song Da 12 Company, plus the great efforts of the collective staff, the company carried out the equitization transformation of state-owned enterprises. On April 7, 2003, the enterprise was built by the Ministry issued Decision No. 383 QD/BXH on converting the Packaging Production Enterprise - Song Da 12 Company, a State-owned enterprise into Song Da Packaging Joint Stock Company. Business registration certificate No. 0303000082 dated April 18, 2003 of the Business Registration Office - Department of Planning and Investment of Ha Tay province.
- At the time of equitization, the company's charter capital was 4 billion VND according to business registration number 0303000082 dated April 18, 2003.
- On December 12, 2005, the company increased its charter capital to 5 billion VND according to business registration number 0303000082, revised for the second time.
- On August 7, 2006, the company increased its charter capital to 8 billion VND according to business registration number 0303000082, amended for the 3rd time.
- May 2007: the company increased its charter capital to 15 billion VND.
- November 2007: the company increased its charter capital to 35 billion VND.
- Year 2010: the company increased its charter capital to 70 billion VND.
- On June 5, 2013, business lines were added according to business registration number 0500436570, amended for the 11th time
- Production and trading of all kinds of packaging.
- Trading in transportation supplies and construction materials.
- Import and export of machinery, equipment, materials for production, and packaging of all kinds.
- Construction of small and medium-sized civil and industrial projects.
- Trading in materials and transportation.
