Establishment History:
- The Company's predecessor was Saigon Transportation Services Company, officially established in 1976 according to Decision No. 1310/QD-BGTVT of the Minister of Transport. From 1976 - 1986, Tranaco was the leading unit in the field of transportation, exclusively managing transportation on the North - South route.
- On October 27, 2005, Saigon Transportation Services Company was successfully equitized, transforming its state-owned enterprise model into Saigon Transportation Services Joint Stock Company with a charter capital of more than 14.9 billion VND according to business registration certificate No. 4103003977 dated October 27, 2005 (decision to equitize state-owned enterprises to public enterprises). Joint Stock Company No. 3257/QD-BGTVT dated October 28, 2004 of the Ministry of Transport.).
- In 2007, the Company increased its charter capital from 14.9 billion VND to 20.8 billion VND to meet the needs of development and expansion.
- Upcom trading at Hanoi Stock Exchange from March 30, 2010 with stock code STS. Current charter capital: 27,682,210,000 VND
- 2013: Registered for the 6th change, business registration certificate No. 0300463792 issued by the Department of Planning and Investment of the City. HCM issued on May 30, 2013.
