Establishment History:

SaigonTourist Transport Joint Stock Company, formerly the tourist transport fleet of Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Company, was taken over in July 1976. In August 1986, the vehicle fleet was transformed into SaigonTourist Automobile Enterprise, directly under Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Company. In July 1999, Saigon Tourist Auto Enterprise was changed to Saigon Tourist Transportation Company, directly under Saigon Tourism Corporation.
On April 24, 2004, the Company was officially approved by the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City for its equitization plan and converted to operate in the form of a joint stock company according to Decision No. 4693/QD-UB of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
On March 9, 2009, Saigontourist Transportation Joint Stock Company (SATRACO) officially increased its charter capital from 40 billion VND to 80 billion VND according to Decision No. 884/UBND-CNN of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and Offering Certificate No. 267/UBCK-GCN dated January 3, 2008.
In 2009, the company was honored to be chosen as the unit serving transportation work in the city. HCM for the first Asian Indoor Games (ASIAN INDOOR GAMES III) held in Vietnam from October 30, 2009 to November 8, 2009.
2010 was a year with many events in Vietnam and the Company was honored to be the unit chosen to serve the events: Serving the delegation attending the conference of Ministers of Finance, Governors and Deputy Governors of the ASEAN Central Bank; World Economic Forum Southeast Asia Conference;....
May 12, 2011, the Company decided to approve the listing of shares on the Ho Chi Minh City stock exchange.
July 8, 2011, the Company officially listed its shares on Ho Chi Minh City stock exchange.
