SOVIGAZ was established in 1974 based on the merger between Vietnam S.O.A.E.O Subdivision and Vietnam Steam Industry Company. Is a leading state-owned enterprise in the production of medical gases, industrial gases, medical gases, electric welding rods and chemicals in Vietnam.
Formerly known as SOVIGAZ Industrial Steam Company, established on the basis of merger between Vietnam S.O.A.E.O Subdivision and Vietnam Industrial Steam Company
May 18, 1976: Welding Rod Industrial Steam Company was established under Decision No. 229/HC-TCCB dated May 18, 1976 of the General Department of Chemicals
1993: Welding Rod Industrial Steam Company was re-established under Decision No. 265/QD-TCNSDT dated May 22, 1993 of the Ministry of Heavy Industry
Year 2007: The company was transformed into Welding Rod Industrial Steam Company Limited
September 23, 2014: Vietnam Chemical Corporation issued Decision No. 381/QD-HCVN on approving the equitization plan and converting Nghe An Industrial Steam Co., Ltd. into a Joint Stock Company
November 10, 2014: Han Steam Industry Co., Ltd. held an initial public offering of shares
January 28, 2015: The company completed equitization and operated in the form of a Joint Stock Company
May 21, 2015: The company became a public company
August 3, 2015: The company was granted a certificate of securities registration by the Securities Depository Center
March 23, 2016: Company shares were approved to register for trading on UPCoM with the stock code SVG
April 6, 2016: SVG's first trading day on UPCoM with a closing price of 10,100 VND/share
