The predecessor of Telecommunications Construction Development Joint Stock Company (Telcom) was Postal Construction Company, established on July 20, 1954
On December 23, 1966, Postal Construction Company was ranked a Class I Enterprise in the Construction industry
On June 9, 1996, the General Department of Post and Telecommunications issued Decision No. 436/TCCBLD to establish the State-owned enterprise Postal Construction Company, a member unit of Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Corporation
On November 30, 2004, the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications issued Decision No. 59/2004/QD-BBCVT on converting the Postal Construction Company into Telecommunications Construction Development Joint Stock Company
On January 11, 2006, the Post Office Construction Company officially operated with the new name of Telecommunications Construction Development Joint Stock Company.
