Establishment History and Development:
- On November 19, 1979, the Ministry of Irrigation established the Union of regional irrigation construction enterprises region IV (the core is Irrigation Construction Company 9 and construction units of the Ministry Irrigation strengthened) to have a force capable of constructing the Dau Tieng Irrigation Project, which was the largest irrigation project in the country at that time. In addition, the Union of irrigation construction enterprises in Region IV was also trusted by the Government to assign the task of constructing the pressure line of Tri An hydroelectric project.
- On January 1, 1995, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 01/TTg dated January 1, 1995 to change the name of the Union of Irrigation Construction Enterprises Region IV to Construction Corporation 4.
- On September 5, 2005, according to Decision No. 2277/QD/BNN-DMDN of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Corporation was renamed Irrigation Construction Corporation 4 and operated according to the Corporation 90 model, directly under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
- Implementing Decision No. 977/QD-BNN-DMDN dated April 6, 2007 of the Minister of Agriculture industry and rural development on the equitization of Irrigation Construction Corporation 4, The Corporation has determined the enterprise value for equitization at the date June 30, 2007. On July 31, 2008, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 1020/QD-TTg approving approving the plan and Decision No. 1546/QD-TTg dated October 28, 2008 adjusting the old plan partitioning Irrigation Construction Corporation 4 into a Joint Stock Corporation with the name Irrigation Construction Corporation 4 – Joint Stock Company. On December 3, 2008, the Corporation officially converted its operations to a joint stock company model according to the Business Registration Certificate turnover 0300546537.
- January 1, 2009: Irrigation Construction Corporation 4 switched to operating under the General model Joint Company (Irrigation Construction Corporation 4 – JSC).
- November 28, 2009: signed handover from the State-owned enterprise Irrigation Construction Corporation 4 to Doanh business Shares of Irrigation Construction Corporation 4 - Joint Stock Company with the participation of the Ministry of Agriculture industry & Rural Development; Government Office Innovation Department and delivery and receiving parties.
- In its Timeline of Establishment & Development, the Corporation has participated in the construction of major irrigation and hydroelectric projects in the country. Irrigation projects that the Corporation participated in constructing include Dau Tieng lake, Song Quao lake, Da Te lake, Thach focal cluster Nham, lower Azun lake, Tan Giang dam, Duong Dong lake, Ba Lai dam sluice project (Ben Tre), Cua Dat, Ta Trach and Lower Krong Buk irrigation projects and many other projects. The hydroelectric projects that the Corporation participates in construction include Tri An, Thac Mo, Da Mi, A hydropower plants Vuong, Dong Nai 3, Song Bung 2 and other projects. These projects have strategic significance in the socio-economic development of the country, contributing to ensuring energy security quantity.
- Currently the Corporation has a team of experienced engineers and skilled workers, modern, powerful and diverse construction equipment, a fully equipped quality management system advanced equipment for construction of irrigation, hydroelectric, infrastructure,... nationwide nationwide, with extensive experience in constructing earth and rock dams, gravity concrete dams, slab concrete dams face (CFRD), and roller compacted concrete dams (RCC).
