Establishment History:
- Tien Len Steel Group Joint Stock Company was established in 1988, formerly a construction materials store, and in 1993 was converted into a private enterprise Tien Len.
- In 2001, the Company transformed for the first time into Tien Len Company Limited on November 22, 2001 with an initial charter capital of only: 15,000,000,000 VND.
- On August 18, 2009, the Company decided to convert from Tien Len Company Limited to Tien Len Steel Group Joint Stock Company with two affiliated companies: (i) Dai Phuc Production and Trading Company Limited, date of establishment November 30, 2001, charter capital of 120,000,000,000 VND, and (ii) Tay Nguyen Steel Company Limited, established date August 7, 1999, charter capital is 161,000,000,000 VND. In addition, Tien Len also has a company that the group holds controlling power, Bac Nam Steel Joint Stock Company, in Tam Phuoc Industrial Park, Dong Nai.
- On August 18, 2009, Tien Len Company Limited transformed into Tien Len Steel Group Joint Stock Company with an actual contributed capital of 449,530,000,000 VND.
- On October 5, 2009, the Company completed the private issuance of 9,047,000 shares to the company's officers and employees and a number of external strategic shareholders (less than 100 shareholders), increasing capital to 540,000,000,000 VND. From this point on, Tien Len officially became a public company and registered with the State Securities Commission.
- March 16, 2010, listed on HO exchange, operating stably up to now.
