Foundation history:
- Thang Long Viglacera Ceramic Tile Joint Stock Company is an enterprise under the Construction Glass and Ceramics Corporation. The company was established on the basis of converting the Thang Long ceramic tile factory belonging to Thang Long Viglacera Tiles Company into a joint stock company according to Decision No. 1778/QD - BXD dated December 31, 2003 of the Minister of Construction.
- The company's predecessor was Thang Long Ceramic Tile Factory, established by Decision No. 1379/QD - BXD dated September 22, 2000 of the Minister of Construction.
- On March 16, 2003, the Minister of Construction issued Decision No. 960/QD-BXD to merge Tien Son Granite Tile Company into Thang Long Ceramic Tile Company and change its name to Thang Long Tile Company.
- On December 31, 2003, the Minister of Construction issued Decision No. 1778/QD-BXD on converting the Thang Long Ceramic Tile Factory belonging to Thang Long Viglacera Tile Company into Thang Long Viglacera Ceramic Tile Joint Stock Company.
- In April 2004, with investment from the Vinh Phuc Development Support Fund, after 3 months of transforming into a joint stock company, the Company boldly invested in additional line No. 04 with a capacity of 3 million m2 /year, increasing the Company's total capacity to 8.5 million m2 /year.
- With its achievements, the Company was honored twice to welcome high-ranking leaders of the Party and State to visit (the visit on June 5, 2002 of General Secretary Nong Duc Manh and on October 8, 2002 of former General Secretary Do Muoi). In addition, during its development process, the Company also received many titles, medals and certificates of merit from organizations, ministries and branches of the State.
- In April 2007, Thang Long Viglacera Ceramic Tile Joint Stock Company changed its name to Viglacera Thang Long Ceramic Tile Joint Stock Company.
- March 2010, JSC Viglacera Thang Long Ceramic Tiles changed its name to Viglacera Thang Joint Stock Company Long.
- On June 3, 2013, the Hanoi Stock Exchange issued Decision No. 236/QD-SGDHN on approving the stock trading registration of Viglacera Thang Long Joint Stock Company. The first trading day on UPCOM was June 19, 2013
