- On September 25, 1979, the Prime Minister signed Decision No. 349-CL to establish the Bac Thai Nonferrous Metallurgical Enterprise under the Ministry of Mechanical and Metallurgical Metallurgy, then on February 28, 1980, the Minister of Mechanical and Metallurgical Metallurgy signed Decision No. 60- CL/CB regulates the organizational structure of non-ferrous metallurgical integrated enterprises
- Along with the transformation of the country's management mechanism, the Company's organizational model and name have changed many times. On April 20, 1993, the Prime Minister signed Decision No. 181-TTg on the re-establishment of TN Nonferrous Metals Company; Implementing the Resolution of the Third Party Central Committee, term IX "on arranging innovation and improving the efficiency of State enterprises", on November 12, 2004, the Minister of Industry signed Decision No. 130 on converting Thai Nguyen Nonferrous Metals Company into Thai Nguyen Nonferrous Metals State One-Member LLC. On December 17, 2010, the Council of Members of Mineral Corporation - Vinacomin issued Decision No. 598/QD-TKS on changing the name of Thai Nguyen Nonferrous Metals State One Member LLC to the new name Thai Nguyen Nonferrous Metals One Member LLC. On December 26, 2005, the Prime Minister signed Decision No. 345 to establish the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Group. Accordingly, from 2006 to present, the Company has been a member of the common house of Vietnam Coal and Minerals Group. Implementing the direction of the Group and Mineral Corporation-Vinacomin on the policy of equitizing state-owned enterprises, on June 10, 2014, the Company conducted a General Meeting of Shareholders to establish Thai Nguyen-Vimico Nonferrous Metals Joint Stock Company, accordingly, the Company converted to the equitization model from July 1, 2014.
