Formation history:

Nha Be Steel Factory's predecessor was Viet Thanh Company (VITHACO) built by a number of Chinese investors in 1967.
In 1976, the Factory was renamed Nha Be Steel Rolling Mill.
In 1992, the Factory was renamed Nha Be Steel Factory
In June 2007, Nha Be Steel Company began equitization. On December 15, 2007, the General Meeting of Shareholders to establish Nha Be Steel Joint Stock Company approved the Charter of Organization and Operation, elected the Board of Directors and Board of Supervisors of the Company.
On January 1, 2008, Nha Be Steel Joint Stock Company officially operated under the Joint Stock Company model
