Timeline of Establishment & Development
- Established under Decision No. 235/QD-UB dated November 17, 1988 of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City with the name Hoc Mon Transport Bus Station on the basis of establishing a parking station for transporting goods from Cambodia with permission. operating in the city in Tan Thoi Nhat commune, Hoc Mon district.
- In October 1997, according to Decision of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee No. 5369/QD-UB-KT, Hoc Mon Transport Bus Station changed from an economic non-business unit to a state-owned enterprise operating in public service under the Department of Transport and Public Works
- June 24, 1999: Hoc Mon Transport Station was renamed to City Cargo Transport Terminal Company according to Decision of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee No. 3661/QD-UB-KT
- February 2, 2002: City Freight Terminal Company was renamed City Transportation Terminal Company according to Decision No. 544/QD-UB
- May 31, 2006: The company officially converted to operate under the JSC model with the name Saigon Transport Terminal JSC
- November 5, 2015: Company shares were approved for first trading registration on UPCoM with stock code TPS
- December 1, 2015: The first trading day of TPS on UPCoM with a closing price of 19,400 VND/share
- Saigon Transport Terminal Joint Stock Company (TPS): May 25 - registration date for receiving 2015 cash dividends, rate 17% (1 share receives 1,700 VND). Implementation time: June 10, 2016.
