- June 24, 1999: Hoc Mon Transport Station was renamed to City Cargo Transport Terminal Company according to Decision of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee No. 3661/QD-UB-KT
- February 2, 2002: City Freight Terminal Company was renamed City Transportation Terminal Company according to Decision No. 544/QD-UB
- May 31, 2006: The company officially converted to operate under the JSC model with the name Saigon Transport Terminal JSC
