Timeline of Establishment & Development:
- Thang Long Corporation - JSC, formerly Thang Long Bridge Joint Enterprise, was established under Decision No. 2896/QD-TC dated July 6, 1973
- On February 19, 1984, Thang Long Bridge Joint Enterprise was renamed Thang Long Bridge Construction Enterprise Union
- On March 11, 1992, the Ministry of Transport and Post Office issued Decision No. 395 to change the name of "Union of Thang Long Bridge Construction Enterprises" to "Thang Long Bridge Construction Corporation".
- By 1995, Thang Long Bridge Construction Corporation was reorganized according to Decision No. 4987/QD - TCCBLD dated December 1, 1995 of the Minister of Transport.
- On April 22, 1998, Thang Long Bridge Construction Corporation was renamed Thang Long Construction Corporation according to Decision No. 934/1998/QD-TCCB-LD of the Ministry of Transport.
- On December 20, 2006, the Ministry of Transport issued Decision No. 2854/QD-BGTVT to establish the Parent Company - Thang Long Construction Corporation.
- By 2010, the parent company - Thang Long Construction Corporation was transformed into a one-member LLC according to Decision No. 1762/QD - BGTVT dated June 25, 2010 of the Ministry of Transport.
- On January 8, 2013 of the Ministry of Transport, the Corporation equitized the Parent Company - Corporation.
- On January 6, 2014, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 23/QD-TTg approving the equitization plan and converting the Parent Company - Thang Long Construction Corporation into a joint stock company. Pursuant to the approved equitization plan, the parent company - Thang Long Construction Corporation organized the initial public share auction on March 24, 2014 at the Hanoi Stock Exchange.
- After the first General Meeting of Shareholders held on May 7, 2014, the Corporation officially switched to operating under the joint stock company model with the name Thang Long Construction Corporation - Joint Stock Company. The Corporation was officially granted a Joint Stock Company Business Registration Certificate by the Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment on May 28, 2014, with an initial charter capital of 300 billion VND.
- On November 24, 2014, according to the 4th change of Business Registration Certificate, the Corporation officially changed its name to Thang Long Corporation - Joint Stock Company as currently.
