Establishment History:
- In 1981, implementing the State's policy of building the first power source project in the South since the day of national reunification, engineers and workers of the Ministry of Energy (mainly forces participating in the construction of the Hoa Binh hydroelectric project) were mobilized to Ho Chi Minh City to carry out survey work. and research and design steps to prepare to start construction of a key national project: Tri An hydroelectric power plant.
- That was the origin of the birth of Power Design Survey Company 2 (PIDC2) in July 1985, a unit under the Ministry of Energy.
- On January 11, 1999, the Company was renamed Electricity Construction Consulting Company 2 (PECC2) according to Decision No. 02/1999/QD-BCN of the Minister of Industry and from November 1, 2007 the Company was transformed into Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company Electricity Construction 2 (PECC2), in which Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) holds 51% of the shares.
- In 2007 the Company transformed into Electricity Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company 2 (PECC2).
- From October 13, 2009, Power Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company 2 (TV2) has officially listed shares on the Hanoi stock exchange.
