Formation history:
- The predecessor of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province Urban Development and Construction Company was Con Dao Construction Services Enterprise. On June 22, 1995, the Company was established under Decision No. 388/QD.UBT of the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung province. After that, the Company was renamed to Construction and Urban Development Company of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province according to Decision No. 469/QD.UBT dated August 16, 1996 of the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
- In 2006, under the direction of the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, the Company equitized the tourism and construction materials department. Branches in Da Lat and Can Tho after equitization were transformed into Vietnam Golf Tourism Joint Stock Company (VinaGolf) with charter capital of 130 billion VND, operating in July 2006. At the same time, Construction Materials Production and Trading Enterprise(formerly an Enterprise under Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province Urban Development and Construction Company) after equitization transformed into Thanh Chi Joint Stock Company with charter capital of 30 billion VND, operating in the middle of the month November 2006 with UDEC Company holding 30% of charter capital.
- In 2007, implementing the roadmap for equitization of state-owned enterprises, the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province issued Decision No. 2008/QD.UBND dated June 5, 2007 on the establishment of the Equitization Steering Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Urban Development and Construction Company. Ria – Vung Tau. After the process of conducting equitization work, on June 27, 2008, the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province issued decision No. 2141/QD-UBND on determining the enterprise value for equitization of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province Urban Development and Construction Company.
- In 2008, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province Construction and Urban Development Company conducted an initial public offering of shares through a share auction.
- On August 17, 2009, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province Urban Development and Construction Company officially switched to operating under the joint stock company model with the name Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province Urban Development and Construction Joint Stock Company (UDEC).
- July 5, 2010: BR - VT Province Urban Development and Construction Joint Stock Company officially listed shares on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE), stock code UDC, as the 273rd member of HOSE. The company's charter capital, as of December 31, 2015, reached 350 billion VND, equivalent to 35 million shares listed on HOSE

- Road passenger transport in inner cities and suburbs (except bus transport): Passenger transport, including tourist transport;
- Demolition: Clean up the construction site;
- Wholesale of materials and other installation equipment in construction: Trading in construction materials;
- Consulting, brokerage, real estate auction, land use rights auction: Real estate trading floor services; Real estate brokerage and consulting services; Real estate advertising services; Real estate auction services; Real estate valuation and management;
